Bases of Perspective | Peatix tag:peatix.com,2011:1 2021-11-15T09:43:54+08:00 Peatix uskhk Bases of Perspective tag:peatix.com,2018:event-430768 2018-10-21T10:00:00HKT 2018-10-21T10:00:00HKT INSTRUCTOR: ALVIN WONGWorkshop Description A solid understanding of Perspective gives sketchers the means to draw what they see both accurately and truthfully.  This workshop provides the fundamentals of the theory, not only on concept but to apply on to several on location exercises.    The concepts to be covered are One-point, Two Points, Three and Multi-Points, panorama perspectives’ principles and concepts.  Alvin will demonstrate through various exercises, how to not only set up an illustration in perspective, but also to sketch objects to scale effectively.  This is one of the “must have” workshops on your urban sketching journey.   Instructor biography Alvin Wong, is an architect and interior designer, practiced in California and now working and living in Hong Kong.  He is the co-founder of Urban Sketchers Hong Kong in 2013.  He led Urban Sketchers Hong Kong on 3 group exhibitions and had his own exhibition “Spotlight in Penang at Fringe Club Hong Kong”  in 2015 together with Ch’ng Kiah Keang.    His travelogue sketches has been publishing online and very well receive by the sketchers. Currently he is lecturing in local universities in Architecture and urban sketching; he is an active sketcher participated inmany international urban sketching events and is one of the organizer of the Urban Sketchers Symposium since 2015.   He is one of the member of the membership committee of USk.
