As opposed to drawing still objects, participants will learn how to capture shape, texture and shadows in a variety of ways, and tackle a dynamic scene where your object could melt, get moved or be consumed whilst being sketched, and tell stories of where the action is happening.  This workshop is for you if you are a foodie and enjoys minimal linework and splashing watercolours around on your sketchbooks!  What to bring It is recommended to bring a watercolour sketchbook or loose paper (minimum 160 g), gel pen (I use 0.7 mm) or fountain pen for linework, wax pencils or water resistant crayons, and a watercolour palette. Minimum 8 participantsMaximum 15 participants Instructor Biography  Ben Luk is an urban sketcher in Hong Kong and one of the founders of Urban Sketchers Hong Kong. He is an engineer by profession and a freelance artist. His artwork draws inspiration from the urban environment, including architecture, streetscape, people and their everyday lives.
