This one-hour mindfulness session will explore the impacts of marine litter and how mindfulness can contribute to a better environment, in conjunction with the month of International Coastal Clean-Up. Participants will be led through a dry land paddling segment to experience some mindfulness-based kayaking activities that would usually be conducted out at reservoirs or sea.THE FACILITATOR: Kian is a Kayaking and Dragon Boating Coach who is passionate about integration of environmental awareness and mindfulness with sports. Kian is the co-founder of SplashAxis, a paddle sports company and Better Trails, an outdoor education based social enterprise.
