Explore writing stories in different genres with AJ Low, the authors of the Sherlock Sam series, and pick up key writing skills to adapt your stories amid shape shifters, parallel timelines and more! Workshop B: Food for Thought (And Writing) Featuring Debra Ann Francisco Food can help you grow and develop… your narratives! Join teaching specialist and children’s author, Debra Ann Francisco, as she introduces participants to the different forms of writing, such as poetry and prose, using food as a feature. [Talk] Laura Wood: The Curious Case of Writing Mysteries Laura Wood is the author of the Poppy Pym detective series for primary schoolers. Meet the author and discover how she started writing, where she gets her ideas from, and how you can write adventure-filled stories of your own.  All sessions are recommended for ages 9 to 12.
