His writing, editorial and translation work includes 35 books published in Tamil and English. Among these, he authored three poetry collections in Tamil, and also translated four others into Tamil from English. Since his retirement, Dr. Nuhman has continued to be a renowned poet, literary critic and a linguist. எம். ஏ. நுஃமான் . இலங்கைப் பேராதனைப் பல்கலைக் கழகத்தில் தமிழப் பேராசிரியராகப் பணியாற்றி ஓய்வு பெற்றவர். இந்திய, மலேசிய, சிங்கப்புர் பல்கலைக் கழகங்களிலும் வருகைதரு பேராசிரியராகப்  பணியாற்றியுள்ளார். பல்கலைக்கழகப் புலமையாளர் என்பதற்கு மேலாக, கவிஞர், இலக்கிய விமர்சகர், மொழியியலாளர், மொழிபெயர்ப்பாளர் என்ற வகையிலும் தமிழ் உலகில் நன்கு அறியப்பட்டவர்.ஆசிரியர், பதிப்பாசிரியர்,  மொழிபெயர்ப்பாளர் என்றவகையில் தமிழிலும் ஆங்கிலத்திலும் இதுவரை 35 நூல்கள் வெளியிட்டுள்ளார். மூன்று கவிதைத் தொகுதிகளும், நான்கு மொழிபெயர்ப்புக் கவிதைத் தொகுதிகளும் இவற்றுள் அடங்கும். திறனாய்வுக் கட்டுரைகள் (1986), மார்க்சியமும் இலக்கியத் திறனாய்வும் (1985,  2014), தொடர்பாடல், மொழி, நவீனத்துவம் (1993), மொழியும் இலக்கியமும் (2006), சமூக யதார்த்தமும் இலக்கியப் புனைவும் (2017) என்பன இவரது ஆய்வு நூல்களுட் சில.Dr V ArasuDr. V. Arasu is a retired Professor and Head of the Department of Tamil Literature, University of Madras.  Hailing from a village in Thanjavur, he is a scholar and academic who has chalked new paths of study in Tamil culture over the past three decades.  He has many publications, edited volumes, special lectures and online entries to his credit. சென்னைப் பல்கலைக் கழகத் தமிழ் இலக்கியத் துறையில் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் பதவியில் இருந்து ஓய்வு பெற்றவர். இவர் கடந்த முப்பது ஆண்டுகளாக தமிழியல் தொடர்பான ஆய்வுகளில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகிறார். தமிழ்ச் சமூக வரலாறு தொடர்பான பல்வேறு நூல்கள், ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகள், பதிப்புகள் ஆகியவற்றைச் செய்துள்ளார். Dr R. CheranDr R. Cheran is a Professor in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Crimonology at the University of Windsor, Canada. Also a poet, playwright and a journalist, he has authored over fifteen books in Tamil, which have been translated into sixteen languages. His latest work, In A Time of Burning, is published by Arc Publications, UK, reflecting on mass atrocities and trauma.இலங்கையில் பிறந்தவர். எனினும் 20 அண்டுகளாகக் கனடாவில் வாழ்கிறார். தமிழில் எட்டுக் கவிதைத் தொகுதிகளும் இரண்டு கட்டுரைத் தொகுதிகளும் ஒரு இலக்கிய வரலாற்று நூலிம் எழுதியுள்ளார். இவரது கவிதைகள் பதினாறு மொழிகளில் மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. ஆங்கில மொழிய் பெயர்ப்புகள் மூன்று நூல்களாக வெளிவந்துள்ளன. சேரனின் மூன்று ஆங்கில நாடகங்கள் கனடாவிலும் அமெரிக்காவிலும் பிரான்சிலும் மேடையேற்றப்பட்டுள்ளன. சிங்கப்பூர் நாளிழான தமிழ் முரசில் தொடர்ந்து பத்திகளை எழுதியதன் மூலம் சிங்கப்பூர் வாசகர்களுக்கு அறிமுகமானவர். சிங்கப்பூர் எழுத்தாளர் விழாவில் மூன்றுமுறை பங்கேற்றவர். இவருடைய கவிதகளைச் சிங்கப்பூர் நாட்டியக் குழுவான சௌக் அமைப்பினர் இரண்டாவது சூரிய உதயம் என்ர பெயரில் சிங்கப்பூரிலும் அமெரிக்காவிலும் மேடையேற்றி உள்ளனர்.கனடாவின் விண்ட்சர் பல்கலைக் கழகத்தில் சமூகவியல், மானுடவியல், குற்றவியல் துறையில் பேராசிரியராகப் பணி புரிகிறார்.------------------------------------------------------------------------About the Singapore Literature Prize 2018The Singapore Literature Prize (SLP) is organised by the Singapore Book Council (SBC) and is Singapore's top literary prize.
