The Maker movement in Singapore is about to be lifted to a whole new level.Makers' Block: A Build, Craft & Design Experience is the largest learning festival in Singapore that will take place at Suntec City Mall from June 27 to July 7. The event, organised by The Hyperflow Group, breaks down the silos of art, design & technology and focuses on bringing ideas to life through the act of collaboration and making.Over the 11 days, the public is invited to join local and international Makers in this creative process by participating in workshops, talks, sharing sessions, make-a-thons, and stage performances. The event is designed to be fun and educational for both adults and kids. The organisers see this as an opportunity to introduce Singaporeans to the hands-on culture of live making, sharing and learning. The goal - to show that everyone can be a Maker, and anyone of us could end up creating the next breakthrough innovation.
