Is it to make money (= pursuit of profit), or is it for self-realization? In the third session, we will first hear from selected guest speakers about their activities and experiences, and then provide an opportunity for dialogue among participants. HYMEC's aim for a “New Prosperity” is to realize a new form of society, people, and economy with life, human dignity, and humanity at its core. It’s core is the reorientation of economic activities to the common good, measuring success with a Common Good Product (national level), Common Good Balance Sheet (companies) and a Common Good Exam (investments). The more companies contribute to the common good (the less costs and the more benefits they externalize), the fewer taxes they pay, the freer they trade, the easier they get access to finance and public procurement contracts.
