Working across flash fiction, poetry and short stories, their words still and startle in turn. Look out for several longlisted writers who will also be reading! The pamphlets, supported by Sing Lit Station's Jalan Besar Fellowship and lovingly designed by Fellow, are now available for pre-order at a special price to be picked up at the launch. Pamphlets will also be available for sale at the launch. All proceeds will go towards publishing more work by emerging writers.Readers' bios: Anna Griffin is a writer, teacher, administrator, wife, daughter, and friend. She was adopted from Nanning, China, and grew up in Mobile, Alabama, in the United States. She lives in Singapore with her Hougang-raised husband and Pasir Risian cat. You may connect with her on Instagram (@quietthread).Iffah Rostam is a current NTU English undergraduate and author of short fiction who has been published in student anthologies both in Singapore and in the United States. Iffah’s stories delve into queer and Malay identities, generational trauma, and childhood nostalgia, wrapped in humour and reflection. KQH Faith is a literature student at university. She takes pride in overcoming her long-held belief that prose was the only literary genre she could understand and write in. Embracing this discovery, she delved into the world of poetry. Tiara Hamarian is an educator (MEd.) navigating the metropolitan whirlwind that is Singapore. When she isn’t teaching, she is writing about tangled relationships, alternate realities, the millennial experience, or working on a collection of contemporary ghazals inspired by the Persian poet Hafez. Tiara was the recipient of both the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal and Koh Tai Ann Gold Medal Awards in 2018.Joses Ho is a poet, pro-wrestler, and scientist. As tech sorceror for SingPoWriMo, he archives and visualizes the poetry posted. Joses also has interests in creative computing and generative text. His poetry manuscript Moving Downwards in a Straight Line was selected for Manuscript Bootcamp (organised by Sing Lit Station) in 2019. Christian Yeo is a writer living in Paris. His work has been published in The Mays and Gaudy Boy's New Singapore Poetries, among others, and has won the Arthur Sale Poetry Prize, placed 2nd for the Aryamati Poetry Prize, 3rd for the National Poetry Competition, and been shortlisted for the Poetry London Pamphlet Prize, the Bridport Prize, and the Sykes Prize.
