Explore the grounds after hours, make your own elephant boxcar, and huddle around for storytelling after dark. Make your own supper snack, catch a film screening, then actually sleepover in Singapore's only museum by the river. The museum is yours - all night long.This activity is suitable for children aged 4 to 12. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please bring along a sleeping bag, toiletries, and a jacket. No showers are available at the museum.Frequently Asked Questions?What do I get with $40 (parent) and $30 (child)?You get free admission to our current special exhibition, Angkor; and to all our permanent galleries during the programme (usually priced at $20 for foreign residents and $12 for Singaporeans/PRs); a kid-sized elephant cardboard boxcar that can be brought home; a supper snack for your child; and a night to remember spent sleeping over at the museum! We're closing off the entire museum just for sleepover participants, and if you've been following us for a while, we hardly ever do this, so it'll be a unicorn moment for us and for YOU. :)What should I bring?Please bring along a sleeping bag, toiletries, and a jacket. If you wish, you and your child can come in pyjamas! There are no showers available at the museum, unfortunately, but our toilets can be used to freshen up.My child has food allergies/ restrictions. How?All food served has no pork and lard. In addition, you will be prompted to answer questions on a survey form during registration. We will do our best to accommodate!How are the sleeping spaces allocated?It will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will be between 7.30 and 8pm, and our staff will bring you to the sleeping spaces once you have checked-in at the ACM Front Desk on that day.My child is scared of the dark, or needs to sleep with all lights off. What will the sleeping areas be like?For the safety of all of our participants, lights will be dimmed, but not completely switched off, in the museum spaces.
