About Chinese Dance Fiesta 2024Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre (SCDT)’s annual nation-wide Chinese dance outreach event “Chinese Dance Fiesta 2024” will be taking place from 26 April to 5 May 2024. The fiesta also marks the start of SCDT’s 10th anniversary celebration.“Chinese Dance Fiesta” aims to strengthen the camaraderie among the local Chinese dance community while fostering a deeper level of appreciation for Chinese dance within the larger community. Apart from dance performances, the event also includes dance masterclasses and talk & demonstration sessions, allowing audiences and dance enthusiasts to immerse in this cultural art form through various ways.As part of SCDT’s 10th anniversary celebration, audiences and participants can look forward to a more extensive lineup of programmes at this year’s edition of “Chinese Dance Fiesta”.This year, there will be 9 sets of dance performances held across 4 different locations in Singapore, including VivoCity Amphitheatre (26 April, 7:30pm), Our Tampines Hub Festive Plaza (27 April, 7pm), Bedok Town Square (28 April, 11am), and DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre at Esplanade (3-5 May, 7pm & 8:30pm). Audiences can look forward to performances prepared by SCDT, performers from Singapore institutions, local Chinese dance groups, as well as a collaboration between SCDT and Dua Space Dance Theatre from Malaysia, whom SCDT had specially invited to be part of this year’s performance lineup.Apart from dance performances, participants of the event can also look forward to Dance Masterclasses on Chinese Han-Tang Classical Dance, Contemporary Chinese Dance and Yao Ethnic Folk Dance, as well as Dance Talk & Demonstration sessions on Chinese Han-Tang Classical Dance and Yao Ethnic Folk Dance. 《一起舞FUN天》2024 @ 怡丰城户外剧场 （三楼） 活动详情： 日期：2024 年 4 月 26 日（星期五） 时间：晚上 7 时 30 分 温馨提醒： 由于座位有限，持有门票者将优先（30分钟前）入场。 剩余的座位将在演出开始后对外开放。 关于《一起舞FUN天》2024新加坡华族舞蹈剧场（舞蹈剧场）即将在今年4月26日至5月5日举办第九届华族舞蹈双周《一起舞FUN天》，这也标志着舞蹈剧场十周年庆祝活动的正式开启。《一起舞FUN天》的目的是聚集本地舞蹈团体，将华族舞蹈带出剧场，走进社区，让更多的观众能接触与欣赏舞蹈。此外，舞蹈剧场还邀请舞蹈家通过大师班及讲解与示范的形式，提升观众及舞爱好者对舞蹈的了解与认识。为庆祝舞蹈剧场十周年，《一起舞FUN天2024》的内容比往年更加丰富。今年，我们的主题定为“共享·共乐”。《一起舞FUN天2024》一共将会有九场演出，是此活动有史以来最多场演出的一次。演出将分别在其下的地点举行：怡丰城户外剧场（4月26日、晚上7时30分）、淡滨尼天地 Festive Plaza（4月27日、晚上7时）、勿洛市镇广场（4月28日、早上11时）和滨海艺术中心星展基金会户外剧场（5月3至5日、晚上7时和8时30分）。除了舞蹈演出，活动参与者还可以参与中国汉唐古典舞蹈、现代华族舞蹈和中国瑶族舞蹈大师班，以及中国汉唐古典舞和中国瑶族舞的舞蹈讲解与示范。
