Join us for an exclusive lunchtime concert series for children, where you and your child can play along with the musicians! Children are welcome to be themselves, crawl or even dance. They can enjoy being exposed to the world of music. Some sessions will feature cambodian music, in conjunction with our current special exhibition, Angkor: Exploring Cambodia's Sacred City, Masterpieces of the Musée national des arts asiatiques-Guimet. For this session, explore Asia through sight and sound with harpist and music therapist, Fontane Liang, as she presents a light-hearted programme of folk songs. Fontane will also present her original arrangements of each song with a special spotlight on Cambodia and some of its French influences. This concert is suitable for children as young as 6 months. The concert venue would have play mats and some musical instruments your child can try out. All of the music is also carefully chosen to appeal to both babies and adults, and will be performed by professional musicians, ranging from harpists to string quartets. All concerts include a short talk about music and the instruments. At the end of each performance, kids are also encouraged to touch or even try the instruments. More information about the performances will be updated closer to the date.Frequently Asked QuestionsWho are the performers?ACM is working together with Play with Mozart to present this series.
