The building, which still retains its traditional rustic atmosphere, is decorated with traditional and contemporary design furniture and artwork, including works by 19th century Dutch painter Hendrik Willem Mesdag and red & blue chairs by Gerrit Rietveld, creating a special atmosphere which blends Japan and the Netherlands.■ Dutch sweets 'Stroopwafel' will also be on saleThe 'Stroopwafel' is said to have originated in Gouda, the Netherlands, a city famous for its cheese. It is a thin waffle with caramel syrup in between, and the Dutch way of eating it is to put it on top of a cup of coffee or other hot drink to soften it before eating. The proceeds from this sale will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society to help the victims of the 2024 Noto Earthquake.【Notes】≪About Reservations≫- This is a reservation-only event using the Peatix system.
