The Chinese Han-Tang classical dance was created in 1979 by the late Professor Sun Ying of the Beijing Dance Academy, China. The dance style is inspired by the music and dance of the Han and Tang dynasties as well as the ideology of traditional Chinese opera in the Ming and Qing dynasties, showcasing the unique beauty of Chinese culture. This masterclass will be conducted by Ms Liu Jia, an experienced instructor who teaches at the School of Continuing Education of the Beijing Dance Academy, China. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Classical Dance as well as a Master’s degree of Fine Art.  This masterclass is brought to you in partnership with the NAFA School of Dance.
