AN HONEST MISTAKE: THE LONELY HEARTS CLUB ALBUM SHOWCASEHello. We're launching our brand new album, 'The Lonely Hearts Club' and we're so stoked for you to hear it in its entirety! What started off as an anti-Valentine's Day gig that didn't happen, has become a reality. It all started as we were coming out of the pandemic in 2022, we had a date and venue locked in but everything with live shows were up in the air so we decided to call it off. What happened a couple of months later was a 4-city tour (Penang, Ipoh, JB, Melaka) where we called it The Lonely Hearts Club tour. Our friends jumped on board and off we went. It was refreshing to do back to back shows that way. It felt like a reintroduction of us to the scene again. It definitely was considering we've adopted a slightly different and more mature sound now. Ambient guitars, straight forward lyrics and there's a bass solo too. The tour then ended with a huge one in KL in November 2022.   Fast forward to 2024, all these songs that were written throughout the pandemic are finally recorded and ready for the world to hear. We've had time to sharpen ourselves and sharpen performing these new songs live. Our last big release was in 2018 so it has been awhile since we've put out an album. That being said, we're printing CDs and T-shirts. New merch! We want to make this memorable for you just as much as it will be for us. These songs are a reflection of us going through the emotions and digging a little deeper into our souls. The pandemic for some was terrible but for us, it helped us grow as artists. It's 2024, just because there's screaming doesn't mean it's 'screamo' or 'black metal'. The guys of Transitions are as pop as it can get in the heavy music world in KL. They're also on our track, 'Forget Me' which is on the album and we've been performing that track a whole lot together. Having come from rock backgrounds, they'd get you moving for sure. MKLOVE, on the other hand, moved from LA to KL and she's an amazing songwriter and a powerhouse of a singer.
