Mitsue is twenty-three, afraid of loud sounds and finding love. Takezo, her ever loyal confidante, worries endlessly for his daughter’s future happiness. Aside from Inoue's long and distinguished career as a novelist and playwright, he also contributed to several anime series as a writer and lyricist. In 1964, Inoue became one of the scriptwriters for NHK’s (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) puppet theatre program Hyokkori Hyotanjima. His works won the hearts of many with their humor and satire, accompanied with an unfaltering sense of the contemporary. He made his debut in the theatre with the play Nihonjin no Heso (Belly Button of the Japanese) for Theatre Echo in 1969. Other notable works include Chichi to Kuraseba (The Face of Jizo),  Yuki ya Konkon, Ningen Gokaku, Mokuami Opera, Rensagai no Hitobito and Ani Otouto. Recipient of the Young Artist Award for Theatre in 2008, she played the leading role of Murni alongside Malaysia’s legendary actor, Datuk Haji Rahim Razali, in the film Sayang Disayang (2013) by Sanif Olek which was Singapore’s Official 2015 Oscar® Entry for Best Foreign Language Film. In 2016, she published her collection of Malay plays entitled CHANTEK. CHANTEK was awarded the Hadiah Persuratan (Literary Award) 2017 by the Malay Language Council, Singapore. Alin is currently the Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Transcultural Studies, Temasek Polytechnic.  KOJI MIYOSHIKoji is the founder and actor of THEATRE BOLEH Singapore. After a year of training, his theatre career began in Japan in 2008, when he established his own theatre company. In 2014, he supported Teatre ENJUKU in Indonesia as an advisor and Japanese coach for a year and keep supporting SHiN DORAMA PROJECT in Indonesia as an Acting Creator.In 2019, he came to Singapore and established THEATRE BOLEH in 2020, In 2022, he received some actor trainings at HCAC, and played in “Sonezaki Shinjyu”.In 2023, he played in “HOTEL” by Wild Rice. JOANNE NGJoanne Ng having initially received training in apparel design before transitioning to various roles within technical theatre, including stage management, production management, and costuming. Her foray into acting transpired unexpectedly when, as the Stage Manager for Elangovan's Flush, she assumed the role due to the unavailability of the designated actress just a week before the performance. Drawing upon her familiarity with the script and stage directions, both Joanne and Elangovan took a bold leap of faith. This impromptu performance garnered her a nomination for Best Actress at The Straits Times Life! She runs an all-female theatre company in her hometown of Akita prefecture (northern Japan). After moving to Tokyo, sha assistant to a professional director. She came to Singapore in 2019 and established THEATRE BOLEH in 2020 and has directed all of THEATRE BOLEH’s products. In 2023, she moved to Japan and now living in Tokyo. EUGINIA TANEuginia Tan is a multi-disciplinary writer based in Singapore. She has experience in various creative forms including poetry, prose and theatre. Her third poetry collection, Phedra (Ethos Books) was nominated for the 2018 Singapore Literature Prize.  Her play-writing credits include Tuition (Twenty Something Theatre Festival), Modest Travels (produced by Tan Kheng Hua for Uniqlo), Fortunes (The Necessary Stage Playwrights’ Cove), The Critic (The Necessary Stage Devising with Actors and Playwrights), The Rat Trap (Gateway Theatre Artist-In-Residence). The Rat Trap was nominated at the 2022 Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards for Best Actor (Lim Kay Siu). She has also adapted notable scripts into modern day settings, such as Elangovan’s Smegma (Centre 42, The Vault Residency) and Kunio Kishida’s Two Men Play With One’s Life (Presented by Theatre Boleh, Singapore).
