Until recently, he was BlackRock’s Head of Impact Investing, managing the Global Impact team and helping investors design and launch additional impact investing strategies across public and private markets. Previously, Eric was an investor at Wellington Management for over 20 years, where he designed and led the world's first diversified public-markets impact investing strategy, which invests in companies whose goods and services help address the world's great problems. He previously worked as a World Bank country economist and as a diplomat in Rwanda with the US Department of State.Eric earned a PhD in economics from Harvard University and a AB in economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
