Rally the troops, there’re drinks to be sipped, a new bar to check out, and a tonne of fun to be had. If you ain’t got a ticket, you ain’t getting in.For one night only on Friday 18 May, Urban Journey is taking over Origin Bar. And bar manager, Adam Bursik (formerly of the Library and Nutmeg & Clove), will be leading a cocktail masterclass that takes us through the all-new menu. Expect traditional Singaporean flavours (like jackfruit, nutmeg, curry leaves, pineapple… we could go on, you get the gist) with a contemporary twist. We’ll even be rustling up a myriad of bar snacks for you to nibble on while you sip.Each drink on the menu channels a different region of Singapore; from the Little India inspired Leaf the Curry (a rum-based bevvy infused with aromatic curry leaves, cardamom, and tamarind) to the Orchard Road inspired, Origin (a spicy gin-based tipple made with sugar cane honey, nutmeg, pepper, charred pineapple, and lime husk wine).
