MGA Regular Webinar Series # 1Topic: Very Cheap RTK Receivers: Changing the Landscape of Positioning ServicesSpeaker: Prof, Dinesh Manandhar, The University of Tokyo, JapanVery cheap single frequency GNSS receivers can be used for RTK positioning to provide accuracy of about 10cm within 5km of base-length. This is possible by using both single frequency base-station and rover (receiver) units. We have developed customized APPs and tools based on RTKLIB and commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) single frequency GNSS receivers and antenna. We hope that this type f receiver systems will be very useful for education, training as well as many survey applications like GIS and Mapping.
