『レイハネの願い‐テヘランの7回の冬‐』上映会＆ダイアログセッション-東京大学で12月13日（水）に開催！
駐日オランダ王国大使館は2023年12月13日（水）、東京大学男女共同参画室後援のもと、ドキュメンタリー映画 『レイハネの願い‐テヘランの7回の冬‐』の上映会&ダイアログセッションを開催します。本イベントは、12月10日の「国際人権デー」、そして11月25日～12月10日の「世界をオレンジ色に(Orange the World)」、ジェンダーに基づく暴力に反対する16日間活動キャンペーンに合わせて企画。女性の権利と性的暴力に焦点を当てた本作品は、映画を通して人々が人権について目を向けることをミッションにするオランダ・ハーグの映画祭、Movies that Matterから提供されました。本イベントが、関東での一般公開としては初の上映となります。ゲストを交えたダイアログセッションも上映後に行うことで、人権問題への関心や理解を深め、「平和と公正」な世界を実現するために、私たちができることを考えるきっかけになればと思います。【レイハネの願い‐テヘランの7回の冬‐】原題： Seven Winters in Tehran 監督： Steffi Niederzoll 2023年/99分/英語・日本語字幕あり 女性の権利の象徴となった勇敢なイラン人、レイハネ・ジャバリの物語。レイハネは19歳のとき、レイプしようとした男を正当防衛で刺し、殺してしまう。被害者の家族が彼女を許せば、死刑判決は取り消される。レイハネにとって、それは自分の命と信念の選択となる。【プログラム概要】 タイトル： 『レイハネの願い‐テヘランの7回の冬‐』 上映会&ダイアログセッション 会場： 東京大学農学部 弥生キャンパス (YAMASA Lecture room)日時： 2023年12月13日（水） 17:00-18:30 ドキュメンタリー映画上映 / 18:30-19:30 ダイアログセッション主催： 駐日オランダ王国大使館後援： 東京大学男女共同参画室【司会進行役】クッキ・チュー（Kukhee Choo） 氏 法政大学グローバル教養学部兼任准教授。東京大学大学院学際情報学環博士課程修了、博士（学術）。メディア社会学、映画学、批判理論を中心に研究。大衆文化メディアにおける身体（人宗・民族・ジェンダー）の表象とナショナリズムに関する学術論文を多数出版。【ゲストスピーカー】寺田悠紀 氏東京大学東京カレッジ特任助教、立教大学グローバル・リベラルアーツ・プログラム（GLAP）非常勤講師。東京大学大学院総合文化研究科地域文化研究専攻博士課程単位取得満期退学、博士（学術）。イランにおけるミュージアム（博物館・美術館）の成立と展開、文化史を中心に研究。【オランダ・ハーグ発の映画祭‐Movies that Matter】映画を通して人々が人権について目を向けることをミッションとし、毎年国際人権デーの時期に、上映会やディスカッション等のイベントを開催する機会を各国へ提供。今年は2023年のセレクションから、駐日オランダ王国大使館が選んだ『レイハネの願い‐テヘランの7回の冬‐』の上映が決定しました。特設サイト ＜https://moviesthatmatter.nl/en/about-us/＞====================The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands is organizing an event for International Human Rights Day!“Seven Winters in Tehran” Documentary Screening and Dialogue Session at The Tokyo UniversityThe Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, supported by the Office for Gender Equality, The University of Tokyo, is hosting a screening of the documentary “Seven Winters in Tehran” with accompanying dialogue session on December 13th . This event is hosted in relation to International Human Rights Day (December 10th ) and “Orange the World”, a 16-day campaign starting on November 25th, that aims to combat gender-related violence. The documentary “Seven Winters in Tehran” which focusses on the topics of women’s rights and sexual violence, is made available by Movies that Matter, a Dutch initiative that aims to raise awareness for human rights through films. Through the dialogue session after the screening, we hope to deepen everyone’s involvement in and understanding of human rights issues, and to provide an opportunity to think about what each and every one of us can do in order to create a peaceful and fair world. 【Seven Winters in Tehran】Director： Steffi Niederzoll 2023 / 99min / English and Japanese subtitles The story of Reyhaneh, a brave Iranian girl who became a symbol of women’s rights. Reyhaneh, 19, receives the death penalty when she kills a man who tries to rape her. She received her Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies at The University of Tokyo and her research focuses on media sociology, film studies, and critical theory. Dr. Choo has published numerous articles on representations of body (race, ethnicity, gender) and nationalism in popular media culture.【Guest Speaker】Dr. Yuki TeradaYuki Terada is a Project Assistant Professor for Tokyo College at The University of Tokyo, as well as a part-time lecturer in the Global Liberal Arts Program (GLAP) at Rikkyo University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Area Studies at Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, The University of Tokyo, and has done research on cultural history, especially focusing on the evolution of museums in Iran.【About Movies that Matter】Movies that Matter is an initiative that aims to raise awareness about human rights through films.
