Riverboat this Mother’s Day for a lavish feast fit for a queen!
Mother’s Day is
always a big affair on board the Riverboat every year, as our team crack their
heads to come up with creative ways to pamper the most important women in the
world. This year, we decided to go back to our Mississippi roots, with a menu
inspired by flavours of the region as well as thematic games for the entire
family.
The Semi-Buffet Spread
Warm up with a
bowl of Sweet Corn Chowder with cruchy bacon bits. Bite into our Maryland
Crabcakes and discover exquisite slivers of blue crab meat. Take a dip into our
Mississippi Boiling Pot and savour your catch of prawns, mussels, squid or
sweet corn. Eat to your heart’s content from a sumptuous spread of soup,
salads, and sides.
Main Course Choices
Our culinary team
has come up with 4 delectable main courses to suit every craving, as well as
some kid-friendly options for the little ones. Take your pick, or order a few
and share!
STEAK OSCAR
A classic Mississippi dish featuring a choice cut of tenderloin grilled over an
open flame and topped with crabmeat. Served with bearnaise sauce, mashed
potatoes and charred asparagus.
POACHED SEABASS WITH CLAMS
Fillet of seabass poached with clams in a white wine stock enlivened with
tomatoes, onions and fennel. Served with oregano garlic rice.
SURF & TURF
Tender, grilled honey-glazed pork chop paired with jumbo tiger prawns. Served
with pumpkin puree and pineapple salsa.
SOUTHERN 4-CHEESE PASTA
Lobster ravioli and spinach-ricotta tortellini in a rich sauce made with 4
types of cheese.
KIDS SEAFOOD BASKET
Crispy breaded prawns, squid and fish served with tater tots.
JUNIOR CHEESEBURGER
A juicy beefburger topped with a slice of cheese, and served with tater tots.
MAC ‘N’ CHEESE
Macaroni in a creamy cheese sauce, oven-baked with chunks of taco-spiced
chicken.
Dessert Buffet
If you still have
room (and you better do) for desserts, indulge in an irresistible array of
sweet temptations from mini cupcakes to macaroons, shooters, fruits, and a live
pancake station!
