of the public were invited to call in to a radio station to recount their
significant memories of places in Singapore. Three film-makers later brought
these narratives to life by capturing a visual journey through a playground in
Toa Payoh, a barbershop at Commonwealth Avenue, Capitol cinema, and an
unassuming bakery in Whampoa.Our

Board as part of the Singapore Memory Project, the film chronicles the life of
a Singaporean man from his childhood memories of playing at his neighbourhood
playground to adulthood.This film programme is held in conjunction with the exhibition The More We Get Together: Singapore's Playgrounds 1930 - 2030, showing at the Stamford Gallery of the National Museum of Singapore from 20 April - 30 September. Admission is free.
