This workshop will focus on our tsugihagi patchwork method, a very basic technique by which we have created many new products. Reiko Sudo will be bringing with her some 100 Nuno textile remnants that have piled up for one reason or another, or simply were trial-and-error swatches from producing new textiles, as well as MUJI fabric remnants. The important thing to remember is, waste materials didn’t start off as waste.
