Melissa De Silva is the author of Others is Not a Race, published by Math Paper Press (2017). Her fiction and nonfiction has been published in Best New Singaporean Short Stories Vol. 3, Singapore Quarterly Literary Review, Wilderness House Literary Review, Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, and LONTAR: The Journal of Southeast Asian Speculative Fiction. She is currently writing a historical novel set in Singapore. She has worked as a journalist and a book editor.
