After a pause of four years, Discovering Singapore's Best Kept Secrets is back for another run in 2023.The second property that will feature in this year's edition, is No 5 Kadayanallur Street, a building whose rather nondescript appearance, conceals a gem of an interior, what is now Singapore's oldest lift, and quite an interesting history!  Due to conditions on site, participation on the tour is limited to persons of ages 18 and above.  Also, please note that I will need your names as per your photo ID (for each and every participant). This is required for my submission to Singapore Land Authority (SLA). In view of this, duplicate registrations in the same name shall be regarded as a single registration.Terms and Conditions for participation(Please read carefully) Do note that by signing up for the tour, you would also have agreed to abide by the following terms and conditions for participation that have been stipulated by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA), who have kindly agreed to open the propetry up for the tour:      Images captured of the property and information obtained shall not be used in any form or manner for commercial purposes and gain, or for the promotion of any organisation, product or cause. Participants shall not damage or vandalise any part of the property visited. Participants shall understake not to post demeaning or devaluing comments or remarks, or anything in a manner that would put State properties in an unfavourable light. All participants must remain in the presence of the guide(s) at all times. Personal Data Protection and Indemnity:The "Discovering Singapore's Best Kept Secrets" series is organised by Jerome Lim of The Long and Winding Road with the support of the Singapore Land Authority (“Organisers”). By participating in the Activity, the participant:(a) Agrees and consents that the Organisers may use and disclose his/her photograph(s) and/ or his/her personal data for publicity purposes;(b) Agrees to the Organisers’ collecting, using and disclosing his/her personal data as provided in this form and his/her photograph(s) taken at the Activity for publicity purposes in any of the Organisers’ printed publications, on their  website and/or other social media sites including without limitation, Facebook, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and all subsidiary legislation related thereto;(c) Acknowledges and agrees  that the participant is not entitled to any  form of compensation  for the use of such personal data and photograph(s) by the Organisers; and(d) has voluntarily assumed full responsibility for any risk or loss and injury that may be sustained by him/her and agree to release and hold harmless the Organisers  from and against any and all causes of action, claims or other liabilities of whatever nature and howsoever arising  out of or in connection with his/her participation in the Activity.--------Other instructions: Kindly register only if you are sure that you will be able to come for the visit as there will not be a waiting list, nor will it be possible to transfer your tickets, in view of the need for me to submit names to SLA ahead of the visit date.  Please ensure personal information is correctly filled before submitting.
