「サイエンスアゴラ2023」の実地開催で実施する企画のイベントページです。敷きつめパズルで遊んで発見体験をしよう！316　テレコムセンタービル3階 ブース図形と空間の不思議～敷きつめ模様で遊ぼう！Wonders of Space and Shape : Let's Play Tessellations! 出展者名 日本テセレーションデザイン協会Japan Tessellation Design Association 企画概要 図形をピッタリ敷きつめてできる模様をテセレーションといいます。建物の外壁や床面などのタイルの敷きつめのようなテセレーションは古くから親しまれていますが、最近になって数学者が驚くような発見もありました。そのようなテセレーションを見て楽しむだけでなく、パズルなどを通してタイルを実際に並べる・触れる体験ができます。私たちはテセレーションを利用した教育活動も積極的に展開しています。見たり触れたりしながら，そのテセレーションの背景にある数学についてもお話しできるので、複合的な体験ができます。Tessellation is a phenomenon emerged by fitting congruent figures together. Tessellations on the exterior walls and floors of buildings, have long been known, but mathematicians have recently made a surprising discovery. Not only can you enjoy seeing such tessellations, but you can also experience actually arranging and touching the tiles through puzzles and other activities. We are also actively developing educational activities using tessellations.
