ノースカロライナ大学生物統計学の修士号、カリフォルニア大学バークレー校 南アジア政治学 修士号および博士号を取得し、20年にわたる上場企業や非営利団体での経験を経て、2009年ルーム・トゥ・リード参画、2018年より現職。
世界中にあるルーム・トゥ・リード約60拠点での活動、政府・学校・地域との連携を通じて、質の高い識字教育と男女平等プログラムの実施をけん引し、1,600人の職員、理事会、寄付者、ボランティア支部のグローバルネットワーク責任者です。
ギータの母親自身、児童婚のリスクに直面した経験を持ちます。その背景から、ギータはルーム・トゥ・リードに寄せる情熱と独自の視点を持っています。ギータの経歴は多様で魅力的であり、企業経験や統計学を含む学問的背景、地域に根ざした実務経験が含まれています。これらの要素が、急速に変化する社会経済環境でリーダーとして活動するために必要な分析力や優れたビジネスセンスをもたらしています。
