According to a report by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and the Bertelsmann Foundation (2022 edition), Japan ranks 19th in the world in terms of achievement of the SDGs, which is not a high rank. The UN Major Group on Children and Youth (UNMYG) As the United Nations Major Group on Children and Youth (UNMGCY) exists, "youth" are encouraged to participate in the development of a sustainable society as one of the most important members of society.
