BIOMOD is an annual biomolecular design competition for undergraduate students. Since its inception in 2011, teams from universities worldwide have competed in building devices and systems, such as molecular robots, molecular computers, and prototypes for nanoscale therapeutics, by using molecules of life. Students lead projects and then travel to present their work and win awards at the Jamboree.BIOMOD 2023 is being organized by the Molecular Robotics Research Group of Japan (MOLBOT), with support from the BIOMOD Foundation. The Jamboree will take place on November 4th and 5th as a “hybrid” event, with an option for online participation. The on-site Jamboree will be held at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan.Jamboree registration starts on Aug. 15.
