Komeeda Service Announcement !!!Cantonese Cuisine Dimsum Tasting Party
Komeeda was created to introduce a new dining dynamic to the casual diner, foodies and their friends. Komeeda teams up with restaurants to host events for Komeaters to hang out with one another and interact with managers and chefs, over a savory and appetizing meal - all culminating into a great night of dining.
On Wednesday May 28th, 2014, Oriental Garden, named the “Best Chinese Restaurant in NYC” by Zagat in '06, is ready to give us a culinary adventure of the Cantonese cuisine through a fifteen dish Dimsum tasting. Dimsum, translated literally to "touch your heart" from Cantonese, is a unique culinary experience originating in southern China that is said to have been the inspiration for the beloved New York pastime of brunch. Come join Oriental Garden--featured in NY Mag, NYTimes, Eater and frequent host to chefs like David Chang--for an evening tasting where you'll learn how some of your favorite bite-sized Chinese delicacies are made, unearth some new ones, and mingle with fellow Komeaters for a great night of drinking and dining.
