100 Minutes of Yoga in the Park - Core
In this 100 Minutes of Yoga – Core, combine an understanding of alignment and the breath to develop core awareness and strength. Bringing this awareness into the yoga postures allows one to experience the wisdom of the body on many levels.
Core Yoga is a heat building practice that allows you to move with your breath while building strength and working on your core.
As the foundation to all else in yoga asanas, core strength makes not just poses but daily life feels easier. With flowing Vinyasa sequences, this class will incorporate core-strengthening transitions and postures that target your abdominals, obliques, spine, and pelvic floor. And, as important as strengthening the core muscles, we’ll also practice passive postures to ease those same muscles groups. You’ll find you’ll stand taller, feel stronger, and exude confidence. You will breathe, focus, move, stretch and balance. Maybe even invert! A strong core is one of the golden tickets to alleviating pain and preventing injuries
The class is going to be fun and challenging, Claudia will be able to encourage and give options for you to take a pace that suits your body’s needs. Expect to sweat a lot and in exchange for improved strength, stamina and balance of body and mind, creating a foundation from which to grow! After a 80 min hard but satisfying work we will have a 20 min meditation to let all the fire created run through all the spaces of your body and into finding a calm mind and deep joy within. No experience necessary, but a willingness to sweat and explore your edges. All levels welcome.

How does it work:
- meet-up in front of 'Chinoz in the park' terrace entrance near the water fountains at 9:30 am
- yoga class starts 9:45am sharp [80min core yoga + 20 min meditation]
- the location where we'll gather for the yoga class is the activities area in the KLCC park, near the Traders Hotel if you are late
- please bring your own YOGA MAT or blanket (we have a few extras, let us know!)
- in event of rain, we'll notify all ticket-holders by email -- and offer choice of attending the postponed date (following week), future credit, or refund
- pregnant ladies please come earlier to check in with Claudia

About the YOGA instructor:
Originally from San Jose in Costa Rica, Claudia has spent the last ten years travelling and working around the world. After four years in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has now become her second home.
Claudia did her first 200 hrs Teacher training in India at Himalaya Yoga Valley in 2011 and her 300 hrs was completed in 2017 in New York at Yoga Works. She has deepened her practice traveling around Southeast Asia and USA taking workshops and other trainings constantly. She also has a vast interest in healing and restorative practices.
With a background in sports and adventure, Claudia's energetic yet serene personality makes for very dynamic classes while not leaving out the importance of the breath and calming of the mind, which aligns well with her life motto: Be here now.
Each of Claudia’s classes are different and challenging yet always very grounding. She pays special attention to proper alignment and her cues are clear for both beginners and advanced practitioners. Claudia will always make you feel comfortable and at ease with her down to earth personality. Her classes flow with grace and her voice brings you to places deep within.
As a third generation of teacher in Mind Body Movement she has felt blessed to share and learn from so many amazing students and teachers around the world.
Her events, workshops and retreats reflect the love and passion she has for the practice and Claudia is able to transmit that and touch the practitioner’s hearts to look within.
