We wouldn’t still be around today if it weren’t for the love and support of our loyal community, so this one is for you guys! We’re pleased to present our 7th anniversary party, featuring the ICS resident selectors you know and love, Bongomann, Toppings and Muto, along with a very special guest. Joining us all the way from Melbourne – the one and only Pjenné!This will be our last Ice Cream Sundays pop-up of the year before we turn our attention to Sunda Festival. So we hope you’ll come ready to throw down and help us blow out these birthday candles!-------------------ABOUT PJENNÉ-------------------Pjenné (Penny O’Brien) is a familiar name in the Melbourne dance community. Through her imaginative club sets and weekly show on Melbourne’s PBSfm Radio, she has established herself as a critical fixture in the local scene. Though her sets may vary wildly, Pjenné has crafted a style that is distinctly her own - atmospheric whilst bass-heavy, it’s sure to make you want to move. The after-hours see her navigating through all realms of dance music - energetic sets that are heavily driven by the psychedelic and progressive sounds of the 90s and beyond. Equally adept at playing small, sweaty basements as she is festival stages, Pjenné has made multiple appearances at the highly acclaimed Inner Varnika, Strawberry Fields, Golden Plains and Boiler Room and will soon be packing her record bags for her first UK/EU tour in 2023.--------------THE VENUE--------------We’re throwing our anniversary bash at Tanjong Pagar Distripark at 39 Keppel Road. Nestled between the industrial spaces next to the Singapore Art Museum, it’s an open carpark space that’s just crying out for a dance floor. Dance under the sun with the incredible backdrop of Singapore’s bustling port machinery to keep you company.------------------------------VISUALS & DECORATION------------------------------Our production partners are cooking up something special for this one. It’s an anniversary party, after all! We won’t give too much away, but you can expect some next level lighting by Myles & Miho, creative direction and light installations by Dvrk By Hei, and set design by @bryankxe and Pier Alessio Rizzardi of TCA Think Tank. --------------------FOOD & DRINKS--------------------Our onsite bar will be dishing out the finest tipples from our partners at Lion Brewery Co, Aperol, Angra Wines, and Joe’s Singapore Seltzer to keep you grooving throughout the day.
