Indian Heritage Centre was opened by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 7 May 2015 and offers year-round exhibitions, programmes and activities to promote greater public awareness and appreciation of Indian heritage, arts and culture. The permanent exhibition ‘Indians in Singapore - Past and Present’ traces the history of the Indian and South Asian communities in the Southeast Asian region.ABOUT David Liew and Aditi ShivaramakrishnanDAVID LIEW is a children's book illustrator for the popular series Ellie Belly, Squirky the Alien, Change Makers and Eye Spy.  He is an art educator and modelmaker who, if left to his own devices, would be found creating tiny worlds in unattended drawers.
