teaching to motivate learners. It serves as an unconventional approach to
formative assessment or as a way to break from the “humdrum” of traditional
classroom activities. The multimodal classroom
response system is played in real time by
the whole class. Multiple-choice questions are projected on the screen.
Learners answer the questions with their smartphone, tablet or computer. In
conjunction with TPACK for teacher professional development, the use of Kahoot
represents teachers' TPK (Technological Pedagogical Knowledge) and CK (Content Knowledge) in action, in their bid to achieving
TPACK in lesson design, as measured in SAMR.*This session is for NAFA staff only
