Moving Beyond Grief - Melissa Yeo
This event is part of the Be Inspired program at A Good Space, Where People of Purpose Play. It transforms ordinary spaces into places of purpose by convening catalysts to invent, innovate, intersect and inspire communities.
The Unusual School is dedicated to developing emotional intelligence by applying psychology, philosophy and culture to everyday life. The workshop will be facilitated by a Visually Impaired Facilitator.
Melissa lost her sight mid-life. She lived in constant denial and were drowning with suicidal thoughts until a packet of potato chips provided her with a realisation. She is now part of a loving and blissful family with 3 pretty girls, a regional quality manager of an MNC and graduated with a Master of Social Science (Counselling).
Come listen to her story and learn how to navigate yours and others' emotions through the 5 stages of grief.
"You don't move on from grief. Instead, you learn how to live with it."
