We get t-shirts from events, our jobs, schools, etc. and some of them hold nostalgic meaning to us, making it hard for us to let them go. Instead of throwing them away, we can upcycle them into more valuable and meaningful items.This month join Circuit of Change in our first Upcycle series. This month we’ll focus on transforming our t-shirts into useful tote-bag, useful for carrying our books, groceries, and other household items.  What to Bring: Bring an old t-shirt of any size to the workshop. We’ll provide all the materials for cutting and assembly. We’ll have an assortment of t-shirts available for those who were unable to bring their own but still wish to participate in the event.  What to Expect Participants will be able to choose from either a hand-tie bag or a machine-stitched bag. A sewing machine with needles and thread will be provided for those who wish to sew their bag together.
