Have you ever seen your toddler show early indications of rhythmic sense? If you noticed or would like to explore the possibility, then it may be time to act and provide your child this opportunity to further develop his/her cognitive and motor abilities from a young age. Musical instrument teaching accelerates brain development in early childhood, especially in areas responsible for sound processing, language development, speech perception, and reading. As part of their offerings on holistic drum education in Singapore, Drum Feng is pleased to present, “Tiny Beats Mighty Sound – An Introduction to Percussion Music” for children age between 4-6 years old. This program promotes group learning and social interaction among the kids in a supportive setting under the direction of Early Childhood Certified Instructors. The activities aim to increase a child's self-confidence through musical expression, as well as to engage, thrill, and deepen their awareness through percussion music. By the end of the lessons, kids will have learned about musical discipline and how to perform in a group setting while playing a variety of percussion instruments.Saturdays, 4pm - 5pmDates: 3, 10, 17, 24 June            1, 8, 15, 22 JulyVenue: Drum Feng Studio1 Straits Boulevard, #11-03A, Singapore 018906Single session: $60Package of 8: $440*PLEASE NOTE*Students must not miss the first 3 lessons. There will be 3 progressive terms of classes of 3 tiers: Level 1 (June to July – 2 months), Level 2 (September to October – 2 months) Level 3 (November to December – 2 months)Each term consists of 8 x weekly sessions of 1-hour each to be held on Saturdays, 4.00-5.00pm. There will only be a maximum of 10 pax allowed for each session with a minimum of 5 pax for the session to be carried out.At Level 1, children will learn about beat, rhythm and to sing and play to 2 x new nursery rhymes using assigned Instrument “A” for this term.At Level 2, children will learn about beat, rhythm, rest, and to sing and play to 2 x new nursery rhymes using assigned Instrument “B” for this term.At Level 3, children will learn about beat, rhythm, rest, choreography (body movement), and to sing and play to 2 x new nursery rhymes using assigned Instrument “C” for this term.On the last session for all 3 levels and as a form of graduation, Children's performance will be digitally recorded and compiled to be sent to the parents after post-production.*Parents are allowed to participate alongside their kid/s for the first session, after which to leave their kids to theinstructors for the following sessions.
