Yoga Nidra + Music Meditation
What is Yoga Nidra + Music Meditation?
Hairie's music journey is all about discovering, experimenting, and making music fun. As part of his heritage, his musical inspiration stems largely from traditional Malay music, a place extremely close to his heart. Hairie was first introduced to the world of music at the tender age of nine when he picked up Classical violin. He joined the Singapore Malay Orchestra (Orkestra Melayu Singapura, OMS) as its youngest musician in 1995 and is still a currently, an active member of the orchestra.
Whats Special? Hairie will be mesmerising us with the beautiful sound of the Oud (Gambus), a Middle Eastern instrument. In the Arab origin, Oud is considered to be “the king of instruments”. It is assumed that the name al-oud is derived from the Arabic for “the wood”. Come find out more, this Thursday 8-9pm @ MusicLoveYoga!
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to experience love and magic through the soothing tunes on the Oud!
