The two-day event begins on Thursday, June 19 with a JATTOOLS meeting. On Friday, June 20, JATPHARMA meets all day and JATINT, JATLAW and a fledgling group of patent translators meet in the afternoon. Attendees will eat lunch together and then informally engage in geek talk in the afternoon. JATPHARMA Meeting: 9:00 to 17:00 on Friday, June 20. Limited to 90 participants. Sessions will cover medical and pharma resources, hospital and healthcare terminology, continuing professional development, and grammatical issues facing pharma translators. JATINT Meeting: 13:00 to 18:00 on Friday, June 20. Limited to 35 participants. This meeting will feature two interpreting workshops, one by Izumi Suzuki titled “法廷通訳 WS / Court Interpreting Workshop” and another by Mamoru Tsuda titled “公益通訳翻訳への招待 / An Invitation to Koheki-Tsuuyaku-Honyaku.” JATLAW Meeting: 13:00 to 17:00 on Friday, June 20.
