Researcher and curator Gatari Surya Kusuma will also share her work on how narratives and rituals become a tool for preserving local knowledge. Moderating the session is artist, Åsa Sonjasdotter, who will share more about her work with farmers in South Sweden. This is the second intervention organised as a three-part Pachamanca food action programme spearheaded by Åsa Sonjasdotter and Daniela Zambrano and presented as part of Singapore Biennale 2022 named Natasha, organised by the Singapore Art Museum.The Biennale is commissioned by the National Arts Council, Singapore and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, Singapore.  Pachamanca Food Action by Åsa Sonjasdotter and Daniela Edith Zambrano AlmidónIn the context of the biennale, potatoes are elements of maternal shelter, vessels of migratory stories and global movement. The action of Papitas Tarpuycha – Earthing Potatoes starts with the re-learning and recognition of practices based by the place of origin, the Mother Earth. The action brings voices together for the generation of new forms of connection and transformation.
