Most cities struggle to address this dilemma in a sustainable way and this is where Singapore has achieved remarkable success.Let Us Talk is a discussion and exploration of the themes presented in an exhibition at the National Design Center called A Home for Everyone, a joint effort by billionBricks and Grounded. Our speakers will be answering questions and delving deeper into the premise of their exhibition and why it is important for everyone to see. A Home for Everyone is an exhibition that showcases a full-scale replica of a home of a Mumbai street dweller, accompanied by stories of the homeless people who have purchased weatherHyde, an innovative shelter solution designed and manufactured by bB (recently shortlisted for President’s Design Award). The stories will provide a true and touching account of success through design, providing insights on how innovative and thoughtful solutions can be a powerful tool in providing safety and dignity to the poorest communities in the world.Let Us Talk is part of Singapore Design Week, and is a free event. SpeakersAnjali MangalgiriBorn and raised in Delhi, Anjali has lived in New York for over a decade.
