As a coach, you want to evoke transformation in your clients, and you’ve been trained to do just that. In fact, your clients’ successes are testimony to how well you’re doing your job.
Yet every coach knows that coaching skills and tools are only as effective as the quality of the coaching space one creates with one's clients. Indeed, a coach’s presence is the secret ingredient in conducting transformative coaching sessions.
But how do you expand your capacity for presence? And how do you know when you’ve done so? Pam Noda, our presenter on this topic, believes that exercising your “relational presence muscle” is the key. Relational presence is the ability to truly be with another, without agenda or distraction. This ability is the bedrock of true coaching presence.
Pam has specialized in teaching the art of relational presence since 2005. In this interactive, experiential workshop, Pam will teach the two key techniques of relational presence and lead participants through a series of exercises designed to strengthen their relational presence muscles. Coaches will have a chance to clarify their own yardstick for measuring their degree of presence in coaching sessions.
Join us to learn about your relational presence muscle and discover how to build a richer connection with clients that inspires and empowers them to achieve more abundant results.
This workshop focuses on the Core Competencies #3 Establishing Trust & Intimacy with the Client and #4 Coaching Presence.
At our meeting, we will:
— Take a closer look at Establishing Trust & Intimacy with the Client and Coaching Presence
— Learn ways to further develop your coaching presence
— Coach each other in pairs or triads
— Earn essential, but rare, Continuing Coach Education units
