There’s lots of buzz surrounding crypto-currency and blockchain development. I’ll provide a high-level overview of crypto-currencies, blockchain, and potential use cases. This discussion will focus on cryptocurrency as a viable means of payment for goods and services along with the challenges and risks involved with corporate adoption. Speaker: Roy NaquinRoy is a strategic planning & financial analysis consultant living in Tokyo Japan. He has more than a decade of experience as a program manager overseeing the development of high-reliability electronic systems for the aerospace and defense markets. He has extensive experience planning product development and preparing cost-benefit and risk analysis for technology development contracts in support of Boeing, NASA, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, General Electric, Raytheon, and the US Government. He holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and is a credentialed project management professional (PMP). Prior to founding enVentur Strategic Partners, he served as co-founder of GymCloud, an online fitness programming platform where he retains a seat on the board of directors. From 2012-2014 he led a team of engineers to successfully develop the Interface Adapter Module (IAM), a computing system for NASA's Sage III Program which launched to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2017. He is an American citizen and United States Marine Corps Veteran.
