Platogon for Role-play instruction
Plotagon for Instruction introduces the pedagogical idea of scenario-based learning with an animated video. The teacher-designer constructs the scenarios in Plotagon by configuring how the characters speak and interact with each other. Scenarios are boosted with scenes combining sound effects and music.
When authoring is complete, the teacher publishes the media onto Canvas, where students hone skills in teams. In conjunction with TPACK for teacher professional development, the use of Plotagon represents teachers' TPK (Technological Pedagogical Knowledge) and CK (Content Knowledge) in action, in their bid to achieving TPACK in lesson design as measured in SAMR
