The words of Zeami show that we have always had a culture of imagining and appreciating the invisible beyond our eyes. This is still the flavour of today's Japanese society, where multiple image effects and overlapping layers anonymise the individual. As many things are now transformed from personal ownership into objects to be shared, our human bodies also might be anonymised like free material and shared with others, creating a temporarily new body that  belongs to no one. I am searching for new forms of dance that can be generated there. Works in Belgium and Japan. Shikichi graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, and currently works at P.A.R.T.S. (STUDIO/MA). Shikichi creates works on the theme of using the human body as a medium to create a strong sensation of reality. Main performances include happy ice-cream (Yokohama Dance Collection 2020), shivering mass, loose boundary (TPAM2020 Fringe), blooming dots (Toyooka theater festival 2020 Fringe/CAF Award 2020/TPAM2021 Fringe) and ama phantom (BankART KAIKO). Major awards include the French Embassy Prize for Young Choreographers at Yokohama Dance Collection 2020.
