The pair recollect how photographic technologies and expectations have dramatically changed and how this has ushered in vastly different era for photographic studios and those interested in photography.--- About the speakers Chua Soo Bin 蔡斯民 (b. 1932, Singapore–) is a photographer who has received accolades for his work in advertising and fashion photography, in particular for his 1980s photographic documentation of the lives of important Chinese ink painters. He is also a well-respected gallerist in Asia, and has exhibited the works of key members of the Chinese avant-garde movement of the 1980s, as well as numerous other important Asian artists.--- Widely regarded as Singapore's most famous fashion and celebrity photographer, Wee Khim's work has graced key magazines both in Singapore and in the region for almost three decades. Crafting his pictures with a blend of light, composition, humor and wit, Wee Khim has an unique ability to capture the beauty and personality of his subjects.Wee Khim’s charismatic and engaging personality puts his subjects as ease, making him a firm favourite amongst celebs.
