We couldn’t be more excited for the La Mamie’s boys to grace our decks once again, following our sold-out showcase with The Council back in 2018. For our money, they’re one of the most exciting live DJ acts on the circuit today, with an enormous crate of top-notch tunes, otherworldly energy, and a stage presence that is simply undeniable. The Ice Cream Sundays trio of resident DJs, Bongomann, Muto, and Toppings, will be getting things warmed up before La Mamie’s take us all the way into the night. So get some beauty sleep, dust off your dancing shoes, and join us for one last boogie to end the year. -------------------------ABOUT LA MAMIE’S-------------------------La Mamie’s is a collective of DJs from Paris. Founded in 2007, they have been hugely influential in shaping Paris’ flourishing music scene with significant contributions on Le Mellotron, Macki Music Festival, and La Ferme du Bonheur. They have played countless gigs in Paris including at La Machine du Moulin Rouge, around Europe, as well as festivals in Asia such as Wonderfruit in Thailand and co-organizing Shi Fu Miz in Hong Kong. Their sound specializes in all forms of house music, yet they do not shy away from other genres such as reggae, jazz, and drum & bass. Creating the appropriate atmosphere, the collective is in constant search of the place where the festive spirit will prevail.---------------THE VENUE---------------Make your way through the eerily colorful statues and join us at the Culture Courtyard at Haw Par Villa. With plenty of space for dancing and an atmosphere that makes you want to get a little weird, it’s an ICS favorite for a reason. -----------------------------------VISUALS AND DECORATION-----------------------------------Our dream team of production partners – Dvrk by Hei and Pudica – are back to add some signature ICS flair to the venue. worm.grrl and her team at Dvrk by Hei will be curating the mood with psychedelic projections and multimedia installations, while the Pudica team will be using their botanical landscaping chops to inject some greenery into the space. ---------------------FOOD & DRINKS---------------------We’re keeping it in the family. The team at ICS’s home base, Offtrack, is coming in once again to serve up drinks from our partners at Lion Brewery Co, Aperol, The Botanist Gin, and Joe’s Singapore Seltzer, along with select signature cocktails.
