The Singapore Committee for UN Women invites you to the launch of our Women in S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Programme. We are implementing this programme in Singapore with an innovative new curriculum to encourage more young girls (especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds) to take up careers in traditionally male-dominated fields. Through day camps and inspiring ambassadors, we hope to demonstrate that S.T.E.M. can be fun and useful, identify the challenges women face in these fields and create opportunities for the girls.
