July's event was so much fun that we wanted to do it again!What is Shaberi-time?It’s an event where we can get together and have good conversations in Japanese. For native Japanese speakers, it’s a chance to get to meet new people, both from the international community here in Japan, and other like-minded people who speak your native language. Facilitator Ako will also be sharing some useful tips for communicating with non-native Japanese speakers in Japanese. For members of our International community, it’s a chance to keep your language skills sharp, get outside of your comfort zone, and make connections with like-minded people! Facilitator Heather will be providing basic event guidance in English, and we have areas for beginner, intermediate, and advanced speakers, so even if you’re a total beginner you can participate!Here are the details:Date: Thursday, November 10Time: 19:00- 20:30 (1 hour conversation, 30 minutes networking)— joining a little late is okayTarget audience: Japanese speakers of all levels of fluency (including native speakers), and beginners in Japanese (you can choose which level you want to participate at— there will be areas for each level and it is self-assigned).Event capacity: 50 peopleLocation: Code Chrysalis Coding Bootcamp, Moto-Azabu (near Roppongi Hills)Eating and Drinking: Feel free to bring your own drinks (alcohol is also okay) and snacks, though we do ask you to wear your mask while not eating or drinking. Please note that no drinks or snacks will be provided at the venue, but there are several options nearby for food and drink. Also, we ask that you respect venue guidelines for disposing of trash.Registration: Please register through the Peatix link so we can have a safe number of attendees.
