Insurance Blockchain Seminar

Description
Background

Blockchain has many properties that makes it suited to be applied in the insurance industry, like immutable audit trail, trust and consensus. In the past year or so, many insurance companies have started experimenting in blockchain. However, as blockchain technology is still in a nascent stage, there are many challenges that comes with it.

This workshop will explore these challenges and discuss the opportunities blockchain brings to the industry. It will also introduce the audience to blockchain and how it is applied in insurance.

This workshop is co-organised by the Singapore Fintech Association and IBM Research, Singapore
