During the days where communication was limited and inconvenient, many would rely on letters to ‘speak’ with their families, communicating their safety and wellbeing. The emotions of receiving a letter were indescribably complicated, a feeling that only those who had experienced it could deeply appreciate.Drawing inspiration from the oral history archives of our older generations, this performance will bring you back to the scenes from Sit-Lat-Po in the 1930s to 1970s and tell some touching stories of the times.
